Our Projects
Project 1 - Chennai, India
Seva Samajam Children’s Home has been supporting disadvantaged children in Chennai, India, since 1950, providing shelter, education, healthcare, and a safe, nurturing environment. Many of the children are orphans, rescued runaways, or come from low-income families facing abuse or neglect. All children attend school at Seva Samajam and participate in sports, arts, and vocational training. The Home also offers higher education support and job placement, empowering them to build independent, successful futures. Over the years, Seva Samajam has helped rehabilitate and educate more than 4,000 children, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities to thrive.
Seva Samajam Children's Home What we did
Through The Murph Foundation, We supplied a dishwasher, easing the burden of handwashing dishes for every child. We provided a nutritious meal for all, ensuring a day of comfort and care. To encourage more play and physical activity, we donated sports equipment and restored play areas, including clearing an overgrown basketball hoop. Most importantly, we spent time with the children, giving them a chance to connect with new faces and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with The Murph Foundation.
